Looking for info and relatives of my grandfather who arrived in NYC circa 1900 from ARmenia and my great uncle who arrived several years later. Martin lived in Manhattan, Kingston, NY and Bridgeport CT. He married Margaret (Aghavni) Arslanian and they had three children, Edith, Clara, and Julia. Paul settled in Riverdale NY and married Mildred, and they had two daughters and had a company called Eagle Photoengraving. please use e mail. Thanks. Also, would love to hear from anyone withthis surname.it is an uncommon name.

Classification: Immigration
Surnames: Arslanian
Do you know anything about the Arslanian family? When was Margaret born and where in Armenia did she live? Do you know the names of her parents? I am researching the different Arslanian branches in the US.

My grandmother, Margaret ()Ahavnii)Arslanian, was born in 1893 in Kayseri in Turkey. We think she arrived in NYC in 1910 or so. Her father's name was Krikor; mother's name Sultana; she had two brothers (Yervant and Kotikin), three sisters (one died in the holocaust, Sirpoohi lived in Worcester, MA and another lived in Detroit; don't know the name).
