The Kuolts in my ancestry are from Deilingen, a neighborhood town. I remember a Leonard Kuolt family who settled in New York City area. I have never been able to connect them to the Deilingen Kuolts. I have an Ignaz born in 1813 in Deilingen. Hope this helps!

I am related to Leonhard Kuolt Sr. (my g-g-grandfather)... who came from Bubsheim, Germany. His Kuolt ancestors are: Ignaz > Pelagius > Fridericus. Do you have any of those in your Kuolt ancestors?

I am also related to a "Joseph Anton", who is an older brother to Ignaz... your Anton Joseph could perhaps be a decendant of my g-g-g-uncle Joseph Anton?

Which relative are you trying to link? I have a tree done by Eugene Wulff who documented all the descendants of Anton Joseph and Anna Blessing. Let me know the relative and 'll look it up. My database has names which include my generation. I also am in touch with three other Kuolt descendants of Anton Joseph Kuolt. I also have the ancestors of both Anton and Anna Blessing.

I have been trying to tie my Kuolt family to the Anton Joseph Kuolt family who settled in Milwaukee, but have yet to find the link. Do you have any info on Joseph Anton's (or your great-grandfather's) Kuolt ancestors? I would love to see any info you may have. I'll share what I have too... maybe we're related!

I am related to the Anton Joseph Kuolt family who settled in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have the family tree from a descendant who contacted my grandmother. I have entered it into Family Tree Maker. Anton Joseph and my great grandfather were brothers.

Hi, I'm Kathy Kult, and am doing a surname study on the Kult / Kuolt / Kuelt surnames.

I have found that my branch of the Kult family came from Bubsheim, Schwarzwaldkreis (the Black Forest), Wüerttemberg, Germany.

I am trying to tie the Kult branches who live in Minnesota and Wisconsin to the Kult family who is based primarily in Illinois. I think they are related, but have yet to prove it.
