I am looking for info on a Stephen J Kulage, b. 17 Nov 1892. He lived in St. Louis and married a great aunt, Caroline "Carrie" Hepp, on 17 Nov 1915. They had a daughter, Delores, b. 1917 who died at age 8, and then they divorced at some point. I can find no info on him after Delores' birth. His parents may have been Arnold Ku(h)lage and Cecilia Ellebracht, but I have no positive proof yet. He was also rumored to have been related to the wealthy Mrs. Kulage (Mrs Joseph??) who was highly instrumental in bringing the "Pink Sisters" to St. Louis - donated part of her property for their convent and built and furnished it.

Anything familiar to anyone?

I have Stephan Herman Kulage, married to Caroline Hepp, daughter was Delores Cecelia Josephine Kulage. A barbara Hoffman is listed, possibly the second wife of Stephan. I believe it lists his parents as Arnold(1854-1948) and Cecelia Elbrect(1865-1913), I'm so bad about reading these charts, but I'm pretty sure there the same ones. I'm not sure how Stephan and Joseph are connected, but Joseph is the one who was married to Theresia Backers(or Beckers). Anyway, contact me if you're still looking for info.

Hello Denise
I am certain that the information you provide is for the same person too. I show Stephen's middle initial as a J though, and am fairly confident that this is correct. How did you locate the information you have for the Kulages? Do you have any death data on Stephen Kulage? I suspect he may have gone to the state of Washington, but do not have concrete proof yet. This is not one of my main lines in my research, but seems to be an interesting one! Are you connected to this line?
Thanks!
