Hi, I'm searching for Kujawa relatives too. Right now all I know is that my grandfater was named Raymond Kujawa and his mom and dad were Mary Borowiak, and Jacob Kujawa, respectively.
My grandfater was born and died in Gaylord, Michigan. My grandmother, Irene (Malak) Kujawa is from the same location. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Cheryl: your grandfather Raymond is the brother of my great grandmother Celia Kujawa Pomarzynski all of Gaylord Michigan. I think Raymond was the youngest of eight or nine children. some were born in Poland, but most were born in the USA. If I can be of further assistance please contact me at quilter8@go.com
My Mother who also does some geneology research knows a lot of information about this branch of the KUJAWA's.

Thank you so much! What I know of them is that Jacob married Mary Borowiak. I show Jacob born 1854 and died 1943 in Michigan. I show them married in 1883 in Poland and the following children:
John, Joseph, Katherine born 1867 and died 1880 in Poland, Stella born 1884 married and have 7 children, Michael born 1888 and died 1920, William V. born 1894 and married with one child so far, Alice born 1896, Cecelia born 1896 and died 1983, Lottie born 1897 and died 1932, Sophia born 1900 and died 1973, Raymond born 1903 and died 1993 and Clement born 1905. I don't swear that these are 100% correct but right now that's what I'm showing.

Hi, I am trying to find information on a John Kujawa. When he came to the US the spelling was changed to Queava by immigration. He lived in Pinnconning Mi. I wonder if he is the John you mentioned. The age would be about right. Thanks

Hi Shelly,
I don't have a birth date for John but his wife was born in 1870. Their daughter was baptised at the church in Standish so maybe I can get an age for John from their records. We are still trying find the box with their daughters birth certificate. I'll let you know what I find. Thanks.

On the 1920 census of Jefferson County, Illinois, my husband's great grandfather lists Michigan as his place of birth. Do you know of him?
