Sorry to take so long to respond. I am trying to figure out a family tree. My mother passed before I was old enough to ask anything about my family history. We never talked much about my father, in fact, she never even told me of my father. I fould out acidentally in school when I was approached my family services and told my last name was not the one I was using in school but was Kuiken. I did manage to meet my father ( I found his name in a Akron, Ohio phonebook and called to she if it was him) when I was 21. That was the only meeting I had with him. I didnt at the time ask about any possible aunts or uncles or living grandparents at that time. Now with children of my own I am courious about tracing my history. I would like to see pictures, know names, and know my fathers side of the family and possibly be able to visit relatives at reunions or Holidays. I was in contact with someone at one time but lost that contact. I think it might have been an aunt and a cousin.
