Henry Hillyer, m. Catherine Jane Latto. He was b. July 26, 1842, Feed Spring, d. Nov. 17, 1897; m. 1862 Catherine Jane Latto, b. May 15, 1842, d. Oct. 25, 1888, both buried Feed Spring. He attended Hagerstown, Ohio, College and served in the Civil War. Not long before his death, he m. (2) Mrs. M.S. McMath, who had a son. Resided on a farm north of Tappan and after the house burned lived in Tappan. Six children, born on the farm

1. Eliza Eudocia Hillyer, b. July, 1863, d. June 1945, buried Feed Spring; m. (1) Benjamin F. Chase, b. 1849, d. 1912; m (2) George L. Watson, d. Apr. 1944. No children.
