I would first order her birth and death certificate. Her death certiicate should state were she was buried. I would then contact the cemetery and request a burial card on her. There's always some information on them.
After you have received her birth certificate....look up the census info on Marion, Michigan.

Some cities have order forms that you can down load. It's always faster to go through the city or county then the state. You can sometimes order birth/death via the net. There is always a charge.....10cents...to$25...just depends on the place.

If you know that your grandmother parents died in that area you can order their death certificate too. Its amazing what you can get off papers. But remember...always double check and compare....sometimes the papers are incorrect because the person giving the info assumed a name or birthplace etc. IE: like I go by katie...that's not my real name but a nickname.
