Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you - here's the story on Henry Kuhl (married to Catherine Yeagle):
Apparantly Henry was hanged during the Civil War for killing a Union soldier/camp follower at Henry's home. Two other men were in on the killing, and all three helped dispose of the body. It seems that one of the men got drunk later and spilled the information that Henry had killed a Union soldier. Henry and the other man were arrested by the Union army, the one who had gotten drunk and spilled the information took off and wasn't heard from again. Henry was imprisoned awaiting execution. A cell mate in jail told a story about how Henry was constantly slipping out of his irons when the guards weren't looking and that he was a talented silversmith who made this cell mate a ring and put his initials on the inside of the ring. Henry was hanged for the murder of the Union soldier/camp follower. Story goes that two(?) of his sons changed their last names after this happened so they wouldn't be associated with their father who was considered a murderer. Let me know if you need other information.
