Hallo Rainhard.

I am from Fichtelberg and as You probably know, there are many Kuhbandner and Kastl. Just came back from a wonderful trip ins Vaterland ,visited ( or drove through) Brand, Ebnath, Oberlind, Unterlind, Fichtelberg, Neubau Mehlmeisl ect.
Have a nice day

Anni,
I am a descendent of the Kuhband(n)er and Kastl families. My great great grandfather, Michael Kuhbandner married my great great grandmother, Anna Kastl. Michael came to the US from Fichtelberg. I have been unable to find Anna's family origin. Her birthplace was in the USA and her parents were Bavaria. I have no more details that this yet!
Would love to hear from you!
