If any one has any information on Kufel family from Dulsk Poland please contact me
I am related to Dominic Kufel, that is your brother right? if so, please tell me, im just starting my family tree, and I need information too. Thank you!
Sorry but I don't have a brother
ok, how about your parents, or grandparents?
OK I live in UK my father was from Dulsk nr Bydgozc Poland I know very little about his family
ok, not to annoy you, because you seem a little mad, but the Kuffel line in my family were married in Bygdoszcz, Germany, but when Germany and Poland were like one. one was born in Bygdoszcz, and the other in either Poland or Germany, so there may be a connection. his name was Simon J. Kuffel, and came to the U.S. after.
one more thing, not to be a bother, but do you know if back in your line the name was Kuffel, and dropped one of the f's? mine had 2 f's, but then my great grandfather changed it. i was just wondering if you had some connection to why your name only has 1 f, or if it was always like that.
OK I don't know if one "F" was dropped or not but on a visit to Poland I saw several Headstones for my family with only one "F"going back 3 generations Where does your family come from and where are you now ?I'm in the UK where my father stayed after the second WW
im in the U.S., and the story goes, that there was a murder in my family somewhere, and someone dropped one f in our name, and we don't know why. do you know anything about the city Bygdoszcz? you mentioned it, and thats where they were from, there has to be some sort of connection here. please write back

I'm afraid I can't be much help my father came to UK after the war and married my mother. But he died aged 41 when I was 15 I went to Poland to the village where he lived which was named Dulsk nr Swiecie but only met his half sister who wasn't much help.I believe one of his brothers went to the US after the war possibly Wisconsin but I'm not really sure of this It's only some thing I vaguely remember hearing
