I am kooking for a Christian Kufahl who married
a Wilhelmina Kruger. They never came to US.
One son did, my gr. Emil B. Kufahl.A lot of my ancestors were
lived in Wis. for a while then moved to Kansas.Tessendorfs and Nicklas
were their names. I am looking for the connection between the Kufahls in
Germany, Wis. and Kansas. My gr. indicated that Kufahls in
Wheaton, Kansas were cousins, But I don't know exact relationship or connections.

I know you from contact we made in 1998. I've been looking for you.
That is if your previous email went by LOOPAS. Previously known as BlackISuzy.

Look at our home page for more Kufahl details: http://www.genealogy.com/users/k/u/f/Susanne-Kufahl/
Email me from there.

I think there is a connection, not sure how.

Would like to get in contact with you and compare notes.
My sister-in-law is likewise wanting to get back in touch with you.
Thanks, Linda

I am also looking for Kufahl information. My Grand father was Paul Kufahl, his father was Julies, then John, Carl. I was told Carl came to the U.S. in 1842. Im not certain where he settled but the line I am in are all from Wisconsin. I also have heard of a Kansas conection but I am unclear about the details. I have been told Carl was a "Pomer" meaning from Pomerania. I have full information from John on down as far as linage. Please e-mail me at rleed99@aol.com

Hello Linda. I am trying to trace back my Petera lineage. My grandfather was Frank C. Petera, born in Audubon County, Iowa to Antonia Petera and a man who I beleive was Emil Kufahl. He was said to be from Poland and died around 1880 in Wisconsin. I'd be very interested to know if it was the same man you are referring to. If so, please write and pass on any information you may have on him and his acestry. Thanks, Joe Petera
