I have a book my mother gave me of the kuckers from washington county texas. my grandmother was emma kuecker born in brenham, texas in 1884. my grandmother's father was william august kuecker, and he was born in brandenburg germany and arrived in the USA Feb.11,1875. His citizenship papers were issued under the name William Kieke. Informatin in this book tells me they changed their names from Kucker to Kieke, Kuke,Kuker,Kuecker,Kueker. This book tells of family history from Christopher Kucker born May 17, 1813. Wilhelm Kucker born March 28,1820 and August Kucker born January 28,1825.

Re: Kuecker in Iowa and Illinois
Hi,
I am looking for some info on JESSE HATTIE KUECKER. She was married to Henry F. Heidemann. They lived in Cook Co., Il. Do you have these names? Thanks for any help.

Re: Kuecker in Iowa and Illinois
Hi--I'm trying to locate info on my GF, Emil Kuecker. He was born on (or around) Jan. 27, 1883 in Prairie View, IL, which became Half Day and then Lincolnshire. Middle name may have been August. He died in May 1968 in Des Plaines, IL. His mother was widowed and remarried; he had a younger brother who became a mortician and died not long after. My GF married Alma Kufke and they had 4 sons, Woodrow, Noble (my father), Emmett, and Arnold. Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Kuecker in Iowa and Illinois
Hi Sandy! My goodness, you may be one of the connections I've been seeking, too! My mother just emailed me and said that one of my GF's sisters was named Jesse (Jessie?) and she married a Heidemann. My Grandpa's name was Emil Kuecker. There also was a Lily Kuecker who married William Hornenberger and they settled in Milwaukee.
I'm trying to trace HIS family tree.

Re: Kuecker in Iowa and Illinois
Sounds possible, I have no other info except for Jesse and her immediate family. I do know that much of the people I am connecting came from or lived in Milwaukee at some time. Would love to know more, I will try to research some on those names....thanks
Sandy
