My cousin and I visited Czech Republic in April of this year. We visited the St. George Church where Andreas and Tereza were born. We are descendents of Stephen Kubala from Beeville, Texas. The church has sent all their records before 1890 to the archives. We did not get to visit the archives. Thank you.

My mother's maiden is Kubala. Her decendants come from Hostyn, Texas. Teresa settled there with her three sons after arriving in Galveston, Texas in the 1860's or about. Her three sons were named Karel, Vincient and Johann. It is from Johann that my family came from. My e-mail is familyhistory76@hotmail.com

Caroline,

I can't find your email address. It's Andreas Kubala and Veronica Jurena (Czech spelling. They came over in 1860 on the ship Jeverland. Andreas is from a village called Nosovice and Veronica from Hajov.
Hope to hear from you.
Nancy (tell your Mom Hi)

I am just starting to research the Kubala family, not having much luck yet. My grandfather Michael Kubala came from Poland. Could I get some info on Andreas and Tereza. That may help. I have photos, but no documentation of anything!
