Looking for Kubatzki or Kubacki
Hi I'm Gail and live in Portland, Oregon. I am looking for any Kubacki's or Kubatzki's. My father,James Louis Kubatzki was born in Milwaukee,Ws in 1928. His father,Louie Kubatzki was a policeman in Milwaukee. My grandfather changed the spelling of their name to Kubatzki. Also, back in the old days I was told a Kubacki boy took off for Canada and hasn't been heard from. That was 40 years ago or so. I'd like to talk to others and find out if we are related. Gail

Gail My grandmothers maiden name was Kubacki also spelled Kubatzki. They settled in Milw. WI and went to St.Anthony's Church. They were from a village around Berlin. I know we did have some relatives in Milwaukee and they had a fight with them and didn't associate with them anymore. I have a new e-mail address bbmay1@newnorth.net .Related?

Re: Looking for Kubatzki or Kubacki
Hi: My paternal grandfather's mother was a Kubacki/Kubacka. Her name was Maria Kubacka. She was the daughter of Joseph Kubacki. She was born in the village of Budzyn, Poznan Poland. Several members of the Kubacki family came to America and settled in Wisconsin. I think there are several buried in the cemetery of St. Michael's in Beaver Dam. I beleive that Joseph's father was one Jabob (Jacob) Kubacki who came from a village called Ludomy. D.A. Nowakow nowakow@abq.com

Re: Looking for Kubatzki or Kubacki
Wally, It doesn't sound like that is the family I'm looking for. My great-grandmother came from Germany. Her husband's name was John but they all settled in Milwaukee, Wi. Thanks for your reply. The surnames don't seem to match with what I have.

Re: Looking for Kubatzki or Kubacki
Hi ! My name is Claudia (Kubatzki) Abdine. My father, Bernhard Felix Kubatzki was born in Marienwerder, Prussia in 1927. He had nine brothers and sisters. My grandmother's first name was Anna, but unfortunately my grandfather died before I was born and I don't know what his name was. I know I have lots of relatives living in the former DDR, and cousins in Berlin, Frankfurt and Austria. I would love to know anything you've found out about this name. I have a few more things I could share too.
