Hi Carla: I found Bardejov. It's only 20 miles from other family members. I have maps for this area. They came from Dr. Andrew D. Perejda @ University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI. Called UHRO-RUS Ethnography-1906. That date is approximately the dates when most migrated to the US. My grandfather's father was John (Yanko) Kuba. His Mother's was Catherine (Kathrina) Ancin. Children were Josef, Michael, Anna, & Alexander. Hope this gives you some good leads

What a pleasant surprise! Still in NM. Tried to look you up years ago when I had a project at White Sands. Have quite a bit on the family. I will send you package, if you send address. Also, need missing info, if you can provide. I am stuck at Ellis Island. Difficult to gather immigration info. Also contacted Slovakia, they are a little sticky. Require $100 per name and no guarantee they will succeed.

Hi Francis, Glad to hear from you. I have a friend teaching English in Presov and his parents are going to visit him this summer for 2 months. I told them I would send some family info. and see what they can find. Too bad we missed you when you were in the area. I have friends that work at White Sands. If you ever come down please let us know. I got a phone call from Eugene about 2 years ago. Was surprised to hear from him. I missed the last, and I think only, family reunion. Bad timing for me as I received a short notice. I will most likely be visiting Pa. this summer. My address: 859 Hummingbird Drive, Las Cruces, NM 88005. Thanks for sending the info. Will keep in contact. Cousin, Debbie

Hi Deb. We have family members in Presov. Anna (kuba) Pavol @ Krivaney C720 KV, Presov and Grandpa Kuba's Brother Alexander's family @ Capajeroon, C67, Presov. pass this on to your friend. My E-mail is Frank_kuba@msn.com and another is Frank_Kuba @excitemail.com. These relatives may be gone but their offspring should be able to provide info. Find out if any speak english and are any using the internet. We will be in PA in November attending my class reunion. I haven't been East for over two years. We still have two businesses to run until such time as I can sell them. They are for sale, but commercial property takes a little longer to sell. Most people cannot come up with the down payment necessary. Perhaps then I may be able to travel back east. We pretty much stick to within 1000 miles from home. Cousin Frank

The Kubas in my family are from Plum Boro, near East Oakmont. Frank b. 1899 married Elizabeth Hartman b.1901. They had 5 children. I have lost track of most children and their whereabouts. Can you help?
