I am looking for any information for parents of Walter Krzesinski, b: 1/29/1907 probably in Milwaukee, WI, d: 1/26/1962 in Milw.

Walter's parents were Frank Krzesinski and Stella Mary Jendrziewski. It is possible that they immigrated from Poland (Krakow) in the early 1900's around the time that Walter was born. I can not find any traces of immigration/naturalization papers, etc. I suspect name changes during their entrance in to the United States, but have not found anything.

Any information on them at all would be greatly appreciated.

Email me please with a response.

Thank you so much for your reply....I am gonna give the information to my Aunt Pat Krzesinski who is doing much research on this side as well. You said the name Walter was used alot in your line...do you happen to know if your Walter had a son named Walter? My Walter's full name was Walter Stanley Krzesinski, born in 1907...evidently born while his parents were arriving on U.S. soil. This is why I ask if your Walter had a son named Walter. Sounds confusing I know however would love to find a link to much needed information. Do you also happen to know if your line's name changed when they came to the U.S.? Was it always spelled Krzesinski? I have found many variations, but have not yet found a link. Thanks again for any help.

Ok, heres what I know so far, my grandfather Roman Krzesinski came over with a brother (Walter). Roman married Helen Odrowski in KS and had 5 children. They were Vet, Marion, Walter, Irene and Annette.

To the best of my knowlege, Krzesinski did not undergo any change when my grandfather entered the country.

My grandfathers parents were Anthony Krzesinski and Valantina Krzesinski of Krakow. My grandmother (Helen Odrowski)were Sylvester Odrowski and Antonia Novak of Krakow.

I hope this helps. I am having trouble traking information.

Frank and Stella Krzesinski of Milwaukee Wisconsin were the names of my grandparents. I am Pauline's daughter. I had an Uncle Eddie and Aunt's Helen and Toby (Sophie). My mother mentioned an older brother Walter but had lost touch with him. I've just begun to search for my Grandmother Stella and found these old posts from 2000 and wondered if anyone was successful in finding early information from Poland.

I think your Walter was the older brother of my grandfather, Felix. I know that Felix had 2 brothers, Walter and Roman and the family was from the Poznan region of Poland. According to my father (Felix's youngest son) Walter returned to Poland to claim the family farm. In the 1970's, my uncle found Walter and his children still working the farm on a visit to Poland.
