My grandfather was born Marcin Krzeminski in 1877 in Zembryze. I know it is hard to find Polish records. It would be nice to find out what happened to my grandfather in America.

Dad, Marjan Krzeminski, was born 1924 in Zembrzyce so I would imagine Marcin would have left Poland after that

Hello. My name is Paulina Krzeminska and I came to the states as a child. My family came from Radom and surrounding areas. My father was born in 1941 and his name is Jozef. He had 2 brothers and 1 sister. His father died young so I never got to meet grandpa Krzeminski.
The family name stems back to the 1700's and they actually earned an aristocratic title in the mid 1700's under Prus III.They owned land in the present day Ukraine. I yet have to validate all this information.
My grandpa worked for aristocracy as an overseer. From what my family says they were better off than others but were simple, hardworking people.
Please contact me if any of this rings a bell or if you'd like to chat :)

Hello
Long time no speak.
Hope this finds you well.
My mother passed away Christmas day 2013, so we had to go through all the paper work and everything else. I found a half letter in polish from a Josef Krzeminski with the address of
334 Oakland street, Brooklyn 22 NY. Would this mean anything to you?. I cannot read it as I did not learn polish when dad was alive. Tried to translate on the web but the writing as you can imagine is getting feint.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Regards
Sue.
