I am looking for information on Peter (Pieter) Krygger Or Krijger born in/around Antwerp around 1824/1825. I have two different versions of his parentage. Father either Peter or John, Mother either Maria or Johanna.
Peter Krygger travelled to Australia around 1851. He had a wife that died in 1849 and a child by that wife that also died.
Thank you for any information or assistance that you can give.
Juliana.

Hi Neil,
I've got quite a bit of info. from Peter Krygger down, but nothing on where exactly he was from and when exactly he arrived (other than around 1849-1851.
If you have anything I'd love to hear from you!
As I mentionned I have quite a bit of info. from Peter Krygger down (I'm from the John Krygger side - son of Peter) and have had contact from quite a few other distant relatives.
Perhaps we could share some information?
Juliana.

In my genealogy of the family Krijger/Crijger/Krieger/de krijger/Kryger. I have the ancestors of Pieter Krijger born in Haamstede, Zeeland & Adriana Boer born in Ouwerkerk, Zeeland. They data back to an ancestor named Jan Pieter Crijger born in 1665 (5 genearations). I'd like to know more about there descendents?

Hello Mark,
Unfortunately, we haven't been able to trace the Pieter Krijger who came to Australia, so I'm not sure whether the 'Krygger's' here are related to your Krijgers. All the information that I have is what I have posted, our Pieter Krijger was born around 1823 - 1826. I certainly have an immense amount of information of the descedants of this Pieter Krijger who came to Australia, but I don't know if he is related to your Pieter Krijger. Let me know if you have any further information, from which we could ascertain any links.
Kind regards,
Juliana.
