My name is Jeremy and I'm looking for info on Krygers. My mom's maiden name was Kryger... Sandra Lee Kryger who's mom was Lilian Kryger who got the name by marrying Arthur Kryger in Sioux Falls, SD. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I am Terry Wilson, and was a 10-11-year-old evening (girl) babysitter for Roxanne and Theodore during the winter before the plane was lost. The flight on which they disappeared was from Fairbanks to Stevens Village where Shirley and Ron were going to operate a general store with another man, Kilbourne George. More information is likely available through the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner. Teddy and Roxie were actually left with me when Shirley and Ron took off, at my parents' house, to be taken to their daytime adult babysitter later in the day. Shirley's mother moved the children to MI when Ron and Shirley were not found. I was just visiting my brother Jeff Wilson in WA state, when we talked about trying to make contact with Ted or Roxanne.

I knew Teddy and Roxanne, we were best friends through kindergarten and I think first grade. They were living with the Andrews across the alley after their parents went missing, until they were sent to live with relatives in the midwest. Please let your mother and uncle know that I am looking for them.

Hi, I'm researching information on my maternal grandparents. (My mom's maiden name is Kryger) They are assumed dead, as of September 1960. They lived in Fairbanks, Alaska and were originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan. When they were flying from MI to AK (he was a pilot) the plane was lost, thankfully, they had left their two children in MI with their parents. My mom is Roxanne June Kryger and my uncle is Theodore Kryger. I guess I'm just looking for someone that perhaps knew them or any information surrounding the case. Thanks, Nicole

I am looking for any information on the Krygers. I understand that you are an expert on this family. My great great grandfather was Anders Kryger who was married to Christina Lund . My grandfather was John Kryger, of South Dakota. My father was Marvin Kryger. I would appreciate any information on any of the surnames listed also.

I am doing a family reseach on my dad's side of the family. I know that he was born in clay county South DAkota and he had eight brothers and sisters. I know that his parents were John P. kryger and Daisy Belle pond. I also know the names Of Johns parents who were Christina lund and Anders Kryger. I found out that they were both from Denmark. I would like any information that you have on this family.

Yes, I knew Marion. My father was Arthur D. Kryger Sr.. His brothers were: Andrew, Julius, Clifford and William. They were originally form Meckling, just outside of Vermillion.

I was trying locate relatives. Its been hard, since our last name was transposed from Kryger to Krieger. The Ellis Island Rotterdam Ship" Manifest indicates this name change.

My family arrived on Ellis Island July 25 1905
According to ship Manifest, Eight Kryger's arrived on the Rotterdam ship in New York. If you look at the Manifest, our name was transposed to Krieger. My grandfather Jan (John) was only 7years old when he arrived. His father Pieter (Peter) was 37years old.

The entire family is listed on the Manifest:

Beginning to search family heritage. My great great grandfather was Theofil Krygier from Poland. He came to WI under a land grant offered to people in Poland by J. J. Hof. Many people from Poland immigrated to the Pulaski, WI area at the same time. Any further info. would be appreciated

I have information one of the Kryger lines (sometimes spelled
KRÖGER or KRÜGER) from Denmark. My greatgrandfather was Anders Jorgen Kryger, b. 1857 (he had a brother named Martin b. 1860 of which I can not find his whearabouts and he may have settled in Nebraska.)
GGFX2 was Johann Kryger born 1819 -1969 HALK PARISH, Denmark
GGFX3 was Martin Kryger b.1788-1833
GGFX4. was Martin Krgyer abt 1745-1795 AABENRAA PARISH , Denmark
GGgfX5 was Michel Kryger
Michel Kryger lived in the former East Prussia. It's now a Russian enclave located between Poland and Lithuania. He lived in a town named Dultzen near Königsberg. The towns now have Russian names and Königsberg which is now named Kaliningrad.He was a soldier and came to Denmark.
I have more information, if you may be related to these Kryger's.

Peter Kryger

Looking for Peter Kryger (alternative spellings Crager, Craivier also found), b. Holland 1813 and wife Adriana Boer Kryger b. Holland 1819; children Jacob b. Holland 1840 and Leendert/Leonard b. Holland 1845.
They may have settled in Dunkirk, Chautauqua County, New York (a Peter Kryger and family appear in the censuses there). Any other info welcome.

My husband and I are also researching his Kryger family..They immigrated through NY in March of 1873. Klaus Trijntje (Bakker) from Enkhuizen Noord Holland with children: John, William and Elizabeth (Lizzie). Son, Peter had come previously. I would appreciate any information about this family. They went to Iowa and then they split up, some going to Kansas, others to Nebraska. Peter Elizabeth to Canada, Wm. to WA AZ. I don't know where John went from Kansas.
