Looking for Peter Kryger (alternative spellings Crager, Craivier also found), b. Holland 1813 and wife Adriana Boer Kryger b. Holland 1819; children Jacob b. Holland 1840 and Leendert/Leonard b. Holland 1845. They may have settled in Dunkirk, Chautauqua County, New York (a Peter Kryger and family appear in the censuses there). Any other info welcome.

My family arrived on Ellis Island July 25 1905 According to ship Manifest, Eight Kryger's arrived on the Rotterdam ship in New York. If you look at the Manifest, our name was transposed to Krieger. My grandfather Jan (John) was only 7years old when he arrived. His father Pieter (Peter) was 37years old.

I was trying locate relatives. Its been hard, since our last name was transposed from Kryger to Krieger. The Ellis Island Rotterdam Ship" Manifest indicates this name change.
