I am looking for information on my husband's maternal ggrandfather. The 1910 Census shows him in Michigan married with 3 children. The wife's name is illegible. The children in birth order are Stanley Jr, Genevieve, and Mitchell.

The Census lists them as immigrated from Poland in 1898. Stanley Jr. was born in Ohio, I think. Stanley junior died very young and my mother-in-law knows almost nothing about him. Her Mother has also passed on, so there is no one to ask.

If you know of this family and can contribute any information, please post it.

Thanks, Susan

I have a Stanley Krych in my family tree. His father's name was Joe. According to my grt aunt, Joe came by ship with his children Anna, Walter, Stanley, Julia, Bertha & Mary. Anna married Nic Bieniek and they were my grt grandparents. No idea if this is the same family, but maybe the info will help.

Hello Susan,
My name is Greg Krych and Your inquiry (I realize it was in
2004 and you may have given up by now) sounds very
fimiliar. My Dad's name is Clarence Krych and grew up in
the Howell/Fowlerville, Mi area. His parents (my grand
-parents) passed away at a early age (I never met) and
nobody had very much info on them. Except I have my Dad's
Dad name listed (on death cert) as Steven Krych. Are you
sure about the first name as being Stanley? Although the
children don't match up. Maybe Stanley and Steven were
brothers. I can't imagine there were too many Krych's in
Michigan in that time line. You can reach me, Greg, at
email (urkg.krych@rocketmail.com). I to would like to find
out more about the Krych's.
