Deanne, I came across your message to Beth Johnson. May I ask the Names of your in-laws? My mother was Mary Ann Kribell(the youngest sister of Beth's Grandmother) Both my parents grew up in the Bersford area. It is sounding like your husband may be a cousin. Please feel free to contact me privatly, if you would prefer.

Hi Cousin!! What finally got me was the name James. I remember hearing about their cousin "James(Jimmy)" a lot when i was growing up. My grandfather was Thomas P Kribell. I bet if you ask your in-laws about Sister Blanch, or Sister Ruth, FLorence, etc. it will turn on a few lights :) I have 9 siblings. 4 of them still living in and around Madison. Thank you for your response. Is nice to be able to make connections with the Kribells. (We really don't have all that much on family tree from that "branch")

Thanks for responding. It sounds funny to hear James called "Jimmie". My husband is from a family of 6 boys and 1 girl so there's lots of Kribell's down in the Beresford area. They all live between Brandon & Yankton except for one in San Antonio, soon to be in Washington, D.C. James' family mostly live in the Irene/Yankton area. He has five boys and one girl.
