The first Francis Kretzschmar Reunion is scheduled for 1 P.M., Sunday, August 9, 2009 at the Community of Christ Church (3 miles South of St. Louis, MI on State Road or 4 1/2 miles north of Ithaca, MI). I hope you can come.

Bring a dish to share. Drinks will be furnished. Provide your own table service.

In 1881 Francis Kretzschmar and his children Theodore, Henry, and Kate moved to a farm north of St. Louis, MI. Amelia and Margaret, his two daughters, stayed in Columbiana County, OH. Charles, Clara, Frank and William Albert decided to make their home in Pittsford, MI.

If you have family pictures, genealogical information, and/or stories, bring them with you. I will bring pictures of Francis and Margaret Kretzschmar and their children; plus information about our two trips to Penig, Germany; Francis Kretzschmar's ancestral home. If you would like to share music or some other talent that you have, be prepared to share on Sunday.

I ask your help in informing the various branches of the Kretzschmar family. In particular, I do not know many relatives on the Barnard-Kretzschmar side of the family. Let me know if you can help inform your branch of the family. .
