A Christian Krebel/Krabill/Grebel came from Germany on a ship in 1727. Anyone know where they came from in Germany?

Surnames: Fox, Crabiel, Krebel, Krabill
I am researching Christian Crabiel, born 1832 in Baden Germany. I belive the spelling of the last name changed when he arrived in the US. It could have been Krabill, Krebel, or any of the other possibilities. I recently learned that his father may have been named Michael and his mother's maiden name could have been Fox.

Have you found any other information since you posted.

The Michael Krehbiel in my ancestory was born about 16667 at the Weierhof in the Palatinate Germany. His grandson was Christian Grebil born 1718 in Munchweller, Pfalz Germany. As I trace the family from Switzerland to Germany to America they seemed to always change the spelling. Birth dates, spouse and children seem to fit. A will of of Chriustian Krebil is signed by his two sons. One of them changed the spelling to Grebil. Makes researching difficult. Have fun!
