I am also looking for info on a Wisconsin Kraatz family line. It is for a friend. Her grandfather, who is still alive, is Ernest Kraatz (b. 1929 in Akron, OH). His father was Walter Charles Kraatz and his father was Charles Kraatz. Father Charles and son Walter operated a woodworking shop in Milwaukee, WI. Any info would be much appreciated. When I find info on siblings I will post them. I know this is not much to go on.

Hello; The Kraatz in my group are
Christian Kraatz B. Oct 12, 1831 and wife Johanna Von Liebenberg b, Dec 5, 1832 They had 3 children that I know of they are.
Wilhelmina Kraatz b Nov. 5 1854 married Wilhelm Luedke August Kraatz b. 1863 married Anna Starck Karl "William" Kraatz b. 1864 married Katharine Gaebler
I don't know the names of any children they may have had ,the William Luedke is my link to the family. If you go to FAMILYSEARCH.COM they have the 1880 Census and you may find them that way.

Hi, I'm researching the SCHNEIDER/SEIGLAFF/SCHELLIN branches of the family, but I do know that one Augusta Kraatz b. 10 Mar 1831 in Pommern, Germany, married FERDINAND SCHNEIDER and came with their children to the USA in about 1874. They settled in Wisconsin - mostly Milwaukee.
Donno if that helps!

Probably not interesting for u but quite funny. My father Rainer Kraatz married my mum Petra Schellin in 1979. My grandfather Rudi/Rudolf Kraatz was born in the 1920´s in Pommern.
