Hi,

I was in the middle of answering your post and something happened. I am working on a different part of my family but I did come across your msg. I do have a Norman Kratz in my family tree and he lived in Sheboygan, Wi. I have a lot of info on the Kraatz clan. Please contact me by email with any other info that may help make a positive connection. I was in law enforcement and was a criminal investigator in Milwaukee, Wi. all of my life. I worked on many cases but nothing ever drove me nuts like doing a family tree. If we continue we may meet in an insitution weaving baskets. sanyork@earthlink.net

Before you turn to basket weaving, be sure to check out the newer local resource called "Milwaukee's German Newspapers; an index of death notices and related items" (1844-1950). I've indexed about 150 entries or references to the Kraatz / Kratz name. Some of the other surnames linked with these families are Bork Demin Braun Daub Glaettli Bergmann Epetz Reinel Reinl Ledebuhr Leich Schneider.
