I am interested in Henry Kraak of New Orleans, Louisiana. I believe that he was born in Germany in 1877, married Bertha Heck in New Orleans on May 13, 1906, and appears in the 1920 and 1930 US Census. He was the gardener (and perhaps garden designer) of the Fabacher D'Antoni House at 5705 St. Charles Avenue.

I am writing a book on German American landscape architects and would be interested in any information you may have on this individual.

Thanks,

Dear Sir:
I am the grand daughter of Henry and Bertha Kraak. My mother was Louise Kraak. I presently have an Aunt who lives with me(she is 102 years old and sharp as a tack)she was married to Karl Kraak who was the first child of Henry and Bertha. She worked for my grandparents at the Central Ave. location. We would be glad to help you with any research you might need. You have probably written your book at this point but we are available to chat with you.
Thanks, Stephanie Larrieu
