The only information I have on the surname Kraak is my gggg-grandmother Marie Elizabeth Kraak b. 1792 and died abt. 1880. She came from Borgholzhausen, Germany [prussia] where her husband Casper [Caspar] Osiek came from also. They were married in 1820 Germany. I have no other Kraak informaion. Maybe you could help me?

Hi, my name is Rhonda Kraak. I live in Queensland, Australia.

Our family has been researching our family tree and have found out that the first Kraak to come out here was August Martin Kraak who sailed on the Reinstag from Hamburg, Germany in 1873. He came with his wife, Wilhemina and son, Otto. The moved to Bundaberg, Queensland, where my husband has come from.

We know that the Kraak family changed them name during the transit from Germany and originally spelt their name "Krack".

If anyone has any further information I would appreciate it.

pretty much all I can tell you is that my Kraak family is from Borgholhausen, Westfallen, Prussia. She is Marie Elizabeth Kraak b. 1786 and d. 1880. I have no information for her parents or siblyings I'm sorry to say. She married Casper Henrick Osiek and she is my gggg-grandmother. I am a direct descendant of hers on my mothers side of the family. I wish I could help you more but I can't. I was hoping maybe you could help me out.

Hello
I am Jessica Kraak and my parents are Julie and Graham Kraak.
My father's (Graham Kraak)ancestor August Krack immigrated from Germany to Australia during the first world war. During World War II he changed his last name to Kraak.
I was possibly wondering if you have any other information about the Kraak family as I am very interested in my family's history. My father's parents were Heather Kraak (nee Kendall) and James Kraak.
Thanks
