Any information on the Kozak's who immigrated into the US during 1880-1881.
Mathias/Mathew Kozak (1845-1934), wife Josephine Marek (Matecka?) (1849/1853-1903), along with children Rose (b 1873, Joseph (b 1874), Frank/Steffan (b 1876).
From Mathew's obituary, his funeral was held at a (Roman) Catholic Church St Procop, for which was founded by Czech/Bohemian immigrants.
From hearsay, stated they were from Germany? However, this appears to be the old German territory of Czechoslovakia, and/or I'm finding more Kozaks' originating from and currently living in Czech.
I've yet to stumble upon any immigration records related to them. And, almost all immigration records <1900 have extremely poor handwriting and little detail.

Thanks! I just happen to be back in Ohio, near Cuyahoga County, and might be able to get time this Winter to check into the local Kozak ancestry.
