Hello! I am looking for relatives of and information on my late maternal grandmother, Esther Nagy, who was born Esther Kosa (Kosa Esti in Hungarian) in Olcsva-Apati, in north-east Hungary. She came to the USA via Ellis Island in 1911 when she was 13. She was born on February 1, 1897 and baptized in the Reformed Church. Her parents were Andrew Kosa and Elizabeth (Toth) Kosa. Both are buried in Olcsva-Apati.
She was married to Gabriel Nagy (Nagy Gabor in Hungarian) in Oxford Furnace (now Oxford) New Jersey in 1916 at the Evangelical Reformed Presbyterian Church.
They moved to Easton, Pa. (USA) in ~1917 and had three children, Louis (now deceased), Gizella (my mother, now Gizella Seiple) and Alex. Esther had two brothers who moved to the USA, John and Andrew.
If anyone is related to these people, or knows anything about them, please contact me at: dwseiple@aol.com
Thank you,
David W. Seiple (USA)

I might have some ancestors related to you. My uncle did a family tree a couple years ago and my ancestors are from the same village Olcsva,Hungary but it would be the Toth line. You may be interested to that my Great 5x Grandfather married a Zsuzsanna Kosa on Jan 15 1793 in the reformed church in the village of Olcsava. Also, their fith child Janos Toth born on Jan 3 1803 married a woman named Zsuzanna Kosa. I might be able to get more info on the first Zsuzsanna, i know she was a orphan and her step father was Pal Szabo. This village has such a small population I thought there might be a chance that these people may be some of your ancestors. good luck with your search.
