J. Lloyd Koppenhaver, 84, of Lykens, formerly of Wiconisco, passed away Wednesday at Harrisburg Hospital.
Born in Valley View, Dec. 14, 1926, he was a son of the late Lloyd and Annie Lupold Koppenhaver.
A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a retired employee of the PA Railroad and Freuhauf Corp.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Dauberman Koppenhaver; a son, William E. "Bill" Koppenhaver.
He is survived by two sons, Lloyd S. Koppenhaver, Dalmatia, and Thomas R. Koppenhaver, Wiconisco; three daughters, Barbara Miller, Clinton, N.C., Patty Koppenhaver, Port Orange, Fla., and Jo Ann Koppenhaver, Lykens; several brothers and sisters; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with Pastor Carl E. Slough officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to American Heart Association , 4999 Louise Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. To join the procession to attend Lloyd's Memorial Service at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, please be at John R. Shultz Funeral Home, 406 Market St., Lykens, by 11:15 a.m. Tuesday.
