I am hoping to find relatives of the Koogler family that lived around West Milton, OH.
I am not related. We are from Greenville, OH and were dumpster diving a dumpster and found a small suitcase filled with pictures that have the Koogler name on some of them. I know that this would be a treasure for a family genealogist! There are snapshots and cabinet pictures (from the 1860's on).
If anyone can prove with names that would match any of the pictures then we know that we found the right family and they can have them.
It is such a travesty when someone passes and pictures are trashed by mistake or by someone that isn't interested in the old pictures. Some people think that they are not valuable, these are priceless! A lot don't ask other family members if they would like to have them. I am asking.

I would be so greatful for these photos. My husband has the KOOGLER family in his family tree and one of my best friends is a KOOGLER. I have been working on both their family trees to see the connection. I would love to have them and will be glad to send you some money for mailing. Thanks so very much for posting this!
Best wishes,
Pamela

Sorry, I forgot to post, in my last post, some of the KOOGLER names we are looking for from the West Milton, Greenville, Miami County and Montgomery County area are:
FETTERS, KNEIP, JAUTZ, and the elders were from Germany.
If you need further clarification of their first names, please let me know.
Thank you for all your help. I would certainly be very glad to take care of these photos for the KOOGLER family.
Regards,
Pamela

My mother's maiden name was Koogler and they were from Dayton, Ohio. The children were Myra, June, Carol, Gale, and Sandy. The parents were Wilford Cheny Koogler and Doris Margueritte (Hussong) Koogler. The parents of Wilford were John Grant Koogler and Claudia Lenora Koogler. That is as far back as I have been able to trace and if you have any of these names on the pictures I would love to have a copy of the picture and the information. Thanks.

I am asking if you can identify 2 of the 3 names of the 3 generations that had a business on S. Miami St.
There was only one name that matched what you had listed but just an initial no name.
There are pictures from the 1860's thru the 1960's. there are newspapers and newspaper clippings including at least one obit.

There are several people that are interested in the pictures. This is what I can do..... if you give me your email addresses, I can scan some of the photos and email them to you. Who ever can tell me the names of the pictures can have the originals at their cost of postage.
I am trying to be as fair as possible.
