LUCAS, Ohio: Constance Joan Koogle Boone, 76, of Lucas, Ohio went home on Thursday, February 10, 2011 following complications brought on from a severe stroke.
Constance was born June 15, 1934 in Mansfield, Ohio (Richland County) to Lauren Eugene and Evelyn Mae (Finley) Koogle.
She had attended OSU, where she sang in the choir and toured Europe with the choir.
Constance was married to the late Arlen Boone and was a member of Grace Bible Church in Lucas, Ohio where she sang in the choir for the past 50 years.
She had worked as a secretary for Westinghouse Electric Corp for five years and as an Educational Secretary for the Principal at Lucas Elementary School for eight and a half years.
She is survived by two sons, Skyler Boone of Lucas and Robin Boone of Corpus Christi, Texas; four grandchildren, Courtney, Olivia, Alex, and Evan; two great grandchildren, Brennan and Brooke; and nephew, Kevin Koogle.
Constance was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and one brother, Westley Koogle.
Calling hours will be 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East (former American Legion Bldg.), Mansfield, Ohio.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. with calling one hour prior on Monday, February 14, 2011 at Grace Bible Church, Lucas, with Pastor Marc Patterson officiating.
