Peter's son Mathias did go to Chicago. He was Mother Marianne's brother. Other family stayed in Utica NY, where Peter had settled. Mathias had 3 sons, Richard, Louis and Paul, and a daughter Rose. Richard was shot in his resteraunt in the 30's, Paul became a doctor and moved to Kansas City MO. Louis was my great grandfather and worked for Swift Co. He moved to Texas and Massachusetts and Florida. He also had 3 wives. My great grandmother was his second wife, Pauline Pister (also a german family). Anyone interested in the family can email me.

Dear Paul,

I am interested whether you know the names of Peter's children who stayed in Utica? If you could provide me any information on that matter, it would be greatly appreciated.

Best,
Devin

I know there was Eva her sister who married a Francis Lehrscholl, but I'm not sure about what became of her other siblings. She had brothers Adam and John and Leonhard, and sisters Maria Anna, Elizabeth, and Catharina but I am not sure what became of them. I have a note that John when to NJ. I've started a FB page for Saint Marianne Cope and I'm hoping to connect up with her descendants.
