Hi I am seeking information on my grandparents and their family's.
Jan KOMAN born about 1902 married Teofila born feb 1903 in Poland they had the following children Czeslawa,Janina & Adolf. Teofila left from Naples and came to Australia with the children in 1950 and settled in NSW. Some relatives went to USA and teofila visited them in Chicago after 1950. Does anyone have a connection to this family.

Hi,
I just recently found my family in Poland. My daughter is visiting there this week. I found out my grandmother's maiden name was Koman - first name Ewa. They were originally from Magierow, Poland. Most of the family moved to Lubaczow where they are now. Ewa married Ludwik Blaszczak. Please let me know if there is a possible connection. Thank you.

It is possible that they are related as I have been anable to find any other KOMAN families in the area and if your in the USA we know that Teofila wrote to family there but we have no idea who. Keep me posted of anything you think might connect the two.

Hi,
Jan Koman was my grandfather too. My Mother was Czeslawa, born in May 1931 in Tomaszow, Poland. I visited Poland in 1993 and met some of the family still there at the time. I grew up in Sydney Australia, but am currently living with my family in Northland, New Zealand. My mother died December 1996. My Uncle Jim (Adolf) lives in western Sydney with his son Ricky and family, and Aunty Janina lives in Wagga Wagga, NSW Australia. If you have any information on the Koman family it would be great to see. Hope to hear from you soon.
