I believe Matej Kolacny was my great grandfather and he emigrated to U.S. in about 1908 with his three young sons, Frank (my grandfather), Joe, and Jim thru Galveston tx to Danbury Tx. He left wife and two daughters in CZ who never came to U.S. Matej came from the Veltruby / Kolin area of CZ. Matej settled in Danbury and started a second family while my grandfather married and moved to Shiner, Joe settled in Halletsville, I believe and Jim, I do not know. Matej is buried in St Mary's Cemetery near Halletsville.

Surnames: Kolacny, Zubik
Hi, I am from the Czech Republic (Bohemia). My great-grandfather and grandmother were born there (Krakovany/Tynec nad Labem). His name was Josef Kolacny (his son was my granddad Rudolf), my granddad got married with Marie Zubikova (her father was Alois and mother Jana).

It may be helpful.

Regards,
Lubor Kolacny
