Dear Janet,

I, too, am related to the Koglers from Chicago Heights, IL. My Grandfather, Edward Willard was Vernons cousin. You may email me directly at sewdoi@excite.com and maybe we can piece our family history together!

Hi Kerri,
I am related indirectly to the Kogler family of Chicago Heights Illinois. My Grandfather was Richard Maxwell Fowler and was married to Dolores White, he has a daughter that married Edward (Kogler) Knaack (he passed about 5 or 6 years ago) who was related to Vernon Kogler, Jessie Kingman and such. I don't know how (if at all) we're related, but I am interested to know if you have any Fowler/Kogler information. I was told that my great great grandfather changed his name from Kogler to Fowler and I know that some of my relatives came for Shelby (or Shelbyville) Michigan and include John Nelson and Mamie(?) Fowler. If you have any information regarding either family tree, it woud be greatly appreciate.

Sincerely
Robin Fowler-Floyd

Robin,
Sorry....just now got around to looking at this again. I had given up! I will have to ask my mom regarding your question. I'm not really up on that anymore.

Are you talking about my Uncle Eddy? Actually he's my 2nd cousin 1x removed - He'd come visit my dad sometimes when I was little.

Edward Knaack was an adopted son of Vernon Maxwell Kogler and Jessie Kingma.

All from the Chicago heights area.
Vernon was the son of Fredrick William Kogler and Mary Mae Hedger, who lived in Michigan.

I have some more info if your still interested...

Wondering if you have any Kogler's from the Iroquois Co, IL area in your info. My GGgrandfather was married to Christena Ulitch Kogler and I am really looking for any info on her for an aunt. Her first husband was William Kogler whom she had 5 children with.
