When is the next national Koger reunion? Just started researching my Koger side and interested in talking with other Koger relatives. My grandfather was George O. Koger s/o Calvin Koger s/o William Koger, Jr. s/o William Koger, Sr. s/o Nicholas Koger.

Thanks in advance for any info.
Liz

Koger Reunion, Koger Homestead near Bassett VA

All,

My name is Paul Law. My grandmother was Hattie Koger. My father, James P. Law and my mother, Gertraud B. Law owned the site of the original Koger homestead near Bassett, VA. Some years ago a commemorative marker was set up near the site.

My mom recently passed away and the land will probably be sold in the coming months.

I'm reaching out in this forum for advice on who, if anyone, can speak for the Koger family about this historic site and whether there may be interest by the family writ large with researching, surveying, subdividing, and somehow preserving the site. This is very preliminary, I have not discussed this idea with my brother and sister, so I have no proposal in mind. I thought the upcoming reunion may be a venue for the Koger family to discuss possibilities.

I am looking for someone that I could get in contact with who may have some idea of interest.

Thanks,
Paul Law
