Bills brother. Born approx. 1938 in Idaho.
Kens parents; Howard Iva Koffel. I am sure
you are related somehow. My husbands fathers

Janie, This Kenneth Koffel is not my husbands brother. Our
Koffels were; John Howard Koffel, born 1896 in Kansas, his
parents, Harvey born 1858 in Ohio,his wife,Martha,born 1857
in Ohio. I am sure they are related to your Koffel though.
Harvey's parents: Isaac & Sara Koffel, from Ohio. Do any
of these names sound familiar? Carol

I just got online and read you email. I'm a little behind on all this research. I don't know much about Kenneth Koffel. He was my husband's mother's first husband and father to her first two children, Greg and Kelly. They were adopted by her second husband, Robert DeVan and we always thought Kenneth was my husband's dad until a couple of years ago when we found out differently and that Robert DeVan really was his dad. All we knew was that Kenneth died very young and had heart disease. The death certificate showed hyperthyroidism instead. Did you know Kenny? We did hook up with Robert (Bob DeVan) and he did know Kenny and probably your uncle very well, but he moved to Florida about 35 years ago and he passed away last year so we really didn't have time to get many stories out of him. They all hung out together when they were young and were good friends...my husband's grandmother was from the Lisbon area, Eileen, who married John Brown from up that way. He was very good friends with the Eifferd's who she married after John's death a few years later. My husband's brother Greg and Kelly (who are really Koffel's) live in Boise, Idaho and they don't know any history at all, but would probably love to hear what you might have to say. Let me know. Thanks. Janie

I have a lot of info on Iva Wells Koffel's family, the Wells. I have been working on the Wells for 21 yrs now. I would be very grateful to have a few questions answered on the Koffels.
