Hello everyone!

I am looking for ANY information on Frederich Koch, who was born Jan 1850 somewhere in Germany. Between 1883 and 1887 (different years listed in 1900-1930 census) he immigrated to the United States, and settled in Tanners Creek, Norfolk City, Virginia. At the age of 40, he married a 20 year old Margaretta Shockert, and had the following children-

Charles b1895-d1937
Mary b1898
Frederick James b1900-d1985 in Orange County, California
Maggie b1903
Annie b1908
John b1910
Louisa b1912

Frederich Koch changed his last name to Cook between 1900 and 1910. He passes away on 19 May 1933 in Norfolk City, Virginia, and was buried in Riverside Cemetery.

I am looking for any information on this man or his family. His son, Frederick James Cook (Koch), married Sara Lois Joynes and had my grandfather, Robert James Cook (later changed to Robert James Williams). Anyway, thanks for ANY help!
