I am looking for a Charles Knoblauch. Have very little information unfortunately. I know that Charles & Pauline Ebert must have come from Wertenberg around 1872, based on the birthdates and locations. Son Anton was born in 1860 in Wuerttemberg and died in 1878 here in Milwaukee. They also had a baby daughter named Pauline who was born in 1872 also in Wuerttemberg and died at 7 months here. So my best guess is that they arrived in very early 1872. I know its not much to go on, but any help would be appreciated.

Surnames: Knobloch or Knoblauch
Looking for Charles Frederick Knobloch or Knoblauch who was born in 1806 and married Salome Roos from France. Do you have any info on them? They came to the USA around 1851.

Surnames: Charles and Elizabeth: Mary, Lizzie, Edward, John KNOBLOCH, Knoblauch, Knoblock
Interestingly my Charles Knobloch was married to Elizabeth, but I don't know her maiden name. In searching I once came across the following ships list: My Mary Katherine Knobloch would have been 42 in this year and she did have a sister named Lizzie. Lizzie eventually married Daniel Fightner. I was puzzled by the name Lizzie LOOS? What think you?

If you haven't collected them already, Charles Knoblauch's wife Pauline (Ebert) placed his death notices in the local German papers. I've indexed them in "Milwaukee's German Newspapers; an index of death notices and related items" (1844-1950). There was also Joseph Knoblauch in Milwaukee in the 1860s. He had some connection with Arnsdorf.
