My sisters and I were cleaning out my father's home after his death and found a marriage certificate folded into the pages of a book on his shelf. I no longer have the book but I kept the marriage certificate and would love to return it to its rightful family. The record reads "State of Georgia Marriage Certificate Washington County. This certifies that J. E. FROST and Lila Mae KNIGHT were united in the holy bonds of matrimony by Thos. J. Swint, Ordinary on the 11th day of Jan. in the year of our Lord 1930 as appears of record in my office in Marriage Record, book "M", page 336. This 11th day of Jan. 1930." signed Thos.
