J!
I know a Denis in Birmingham UK but no Tyrone's. Did you know there is a new Knibbs mailing list. It's only been going a few weeks but already quite a few listers from all over the world. Why not subscribe?
It's being run by a man called Alan Jackson who is carrying out a one name study of K/NIBB/S and he has somewhere in the region of 20,000 K/NIBB/S in his database. There are now more than 30 subscribers to this new list, all with K/NIBB/S interests and you may strike lucky.
Why not post your interests to the new Knibbs mailing list. To SUBSCRIBE to the list, send a message with no heading to
KNIBB-L-request@rootsweb.com that contains (in the body of the message) the command SUBSCRIBE Best of all, being on RootsWeb it's totally free.
Two other pages of interest:
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~knibbetc/ which is Alan Jacksons Web page. Within it He gives a background into the history of the Knibbs name in Jamaica which may interest you.
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~knibbs/ - can't resist it - my own
Knibbs Web page. I'd be delighted if you popped in and signed the guestbook.
Good luck in your search.
Don Knibbs
