Alan, It was wonderful and surprising to find others in my family. We are a rather small family.
Have you ever determined the name of William Knibb's older brother? Our grandfather-Charles Knibb- who was born in the 1880's is a direct decendant of his. My mom is still alive, and she would have all the particulars. I'll ring her up later and see what light she can shed on this.

Classification: Query
Surnames: Knibbs
I am looking for an old School friend called Christopher Knibb.
His parents had a coffee plantation just outside Arusha Tanzania East Africa.
They left I belive sometime between 1968-1969 after their plantation was nationalised.
The family went back to California, Christopher would now be aged between 46-48 years of age.
Any help would be much appreciated.
yours
