Tim, I was so excited to find your message & the reference
to Hannah Elizabeth Paugh Knabenshue. I have and Elizabeth
Paugh who married an unknown Knabenshue. She was my great-
grandfather's (Andrew Paugh)sister. Their father was John
Paugh. I have notes that a half-sister also married a
Knabenshue. I am hoping that your Hannah Elizabeth and my
Elizabeth are the same person. Please contact me at

I can't tell you how long I've looked for one of Andrew's

Sorry, Sarah, I'm not related to the Knabenschuh family.

But here I found a Georg Knabenschuh, born about 1758, who fought in the Revolutionary War:
