I am looking for the relatives of Dr. Helen Knabe- she was a doctor in Indianapolis, Indiana in the late 1800s, early 1900s and worked in part with Butler University. She had a cousin named Augusta who also lived in Indianapolis.

Hello, I have some more information about her.
Helene Elise Hermine Knabe (December 22, 1875-October 24, 1911)

I think her cousins name was Auguste or Augusta.

Born in Ruegenwalder-Muende, Germany,
near the Baltic Sea, to a civil engineer father who
built bridges and a mother who came from a long line
of ecclesiastical and military leaders

Rügenwaldermünde / Rügenwalde became part of Poland after WWII and is now Darlowo. Doesn't make the search of my wife and I easier.

Helene was killed in Indianapolis and it is still an unsolved murder, even after two trials...

She is buried at Crownhill Cemetery in an unmarked grave: Buried in Section 43 Lot 6950 (unmarked).

We want to get a group together to get a stone for her, and wanted to see if some relatives are still around.
