Hello,
I am attempting to find a family member of Kenneth Keith Knabb, Jr. who was a Vietman MIA.
My mother was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 8097 in Jessup, Maryland for many years. During the war the ladies received bracelets that had the name of a soldier, his rank and date missing or killed. My mother treasured this bracelet and prayed for this man. She died in October 1992. I went to the Vietnam Wall in DC in 1997 and saw his name there.
I would like to give this bracelet to his family. If you are a family member or know his family please let them know that I would like them to contact me and I will send it to them.
This is what Information I have:
Last Name:Knabb
Given Name: Kenneth Keith, Jr.
Rank: LCDR
Branch of Service: Navy
Birthday: 26 March 1938
Casualty Date: 21 October 1968
Home Town of Record: Wheaton, Illinois
Panel: 40W
Line Number:013
With memorial day so close I hope and pray that someone will see this message and help me get this bracelet to it's proper home.
Thank you,
Jo Ann Marshall

That is very kind of you and your mother to keep that with you for so long. Kenneth Keith Knabb (he was called Keith) is my uncle. I am named after him. It would mean a great deal to me and my family to have such a special token. Please e-mail me at keithk@therohogroup.com.
