Hello, the John and Dorothy you mention are my great grandparents.....what information do you have on them? I know they came to Minnesota from Illinois, and are buried in a cemetery near by my home. I am looking for any information that goes back further than them. I know Dorothy's parents' names, and that is all about them. I know by what my grandmother wrote where John's father was born, I know where he is buried, but have no information on John's mother, Friederike Will. Please email me so we can collaborate.

kathy did your family or relatives belong to the lewisville church. I aquired a book on the church. low and behold dad's christening is in there. Also have seen the area of wells as of interest. Do you have anything with Gens. just curious. victor Meyer. do you remember anything about them? If this was your church. another one is the mother church.

And Steph, maybe you want to get your facts in line before you state them as fact. Your grandfather Albert is John and Dorothea's son, not grandson.....

Hello Bill and all. I have info concerning Dorothea and her family. My g/g/g/g grandfather was Otto Lohman who came over from Germany 4 June 1853. He settled in Lake Co Indidna. He and his wife Engel had I believe 9 children, one of which was (Heinrich) Heney. I would be happy to share what ever info I have. I know someone who has been researching Otto's mother side of the family in Germany. She has a great website... www.Karensgen.com I hope we can discuss this soon!! Isn't his fun!! Sue
