Hi - Looking forward to seeing you at Cyd's for Easter, if this is the Marcia married to John, son of Tom Kmet...and continuing on down to Matus (this spelling was on J.C.'s birth certificate) who married Anna Streckova in Priechod, Czechleslovakia when they were 27 and 17 respectively. John Conrad Kmet was the first born on April 26, 1900 according to his birth certificate although he and the family always thought the date was April 24th. Just started looking into the family geneology myself. If you are our Marcia, on Anna's side of the family Mom and I are looking for information about her long lost brothers, John and Alex Meinke, possibly a Willie Mundt as well. Her mother's name was Anna Mundt Meinke Fabritz but I haven't found anything beyond that generation.

Hi again - Different 'Marcia'

Hi Marcia, just finished visiting the Kohut message board and found you - Marcia, not the Marsha Kmet, John Kmet's wife that I thought you were. What a wonderful surprise. Hope all is well with you and the rest of the family.

Hello,
Maybe you can help me. I am researching my family; the most distant lead is based in Turoc Szent Marton Slovakia. Joseph Kmet and Anna Kmet both born in February of 1876 immigrated to the US from there. Anna had a sister and a maiden name of which I am unaware. Joseph died in 1941, and Anna died in 1938. Any information is greatly appreciated. By the way, I am not sure how the surname has adopted an additional "t" on the end.....Thanks
