my name is Thomas, I just got a reply back from a church in NJ where my grandparents were married in 1926. I finally found a missing maiden name - KLYMKIW as translated from Cyrillic by the priest who replied to me. He also sent me a photcopy of the marriage register entry.
Where any of your family from what is present day Dobra, Poland (near Sieniawa)??? My great grandmother Kateryna KLYMKIW had emmigrated from there with her husband in NJ about 1907. That area was part of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire and their daughter Anastazia (my grandmom) was born in Dobra (Austria) in 1905 and she joined her parents later in 1911 having spent her first years living with her grandparents in Dobra or Sieniawa which is down the road. I have a lot more info, but does this click with any of you??
I've emailed also via your addresses
Best regards!
Thomas

There's a second Klymkiw family, in the Toronto, Canada area. Father Marian Nickolai was born in Lviv in 1913, and came to Canada around 1950.
